Stage 3 - Digging the pier holes

From the photo we can see the auger digging a pier hole. Fortunately the site is all sand and the digging was easy. The steel tube forms were used to shore up the holes as the sand may have collapsed as it dried. The yellow crosses is a pier hole mark from the set out so the excavator driver knows where to dig the pier holes.
