Stage 2 - Typical survey peg setout

We recommend when setting out a house on the block that a surveyor be used. In this case our surveyor set out the house with pegs. The one shown being a 1m offset from the corner of the house. Our surveyor actually gave us four points to set out the entire floor system.

The nail on the top of the peg gave us the height datum we required to set out the floor at the level approved by council. We used these pegs to set out the string lines and mark our pier holes for the excavator. The position of the pier holes are taken from our working drawings for the Scotts Head variation steel kit home we chose for this block.
